2/2 – In cooperation with the cantonal monument preservation office, special features such as the silhouette, vertical access or the arrangement of balconies were adopted and transformed into the modern era. In the inner courtyard, a studio house with two small flats could be created. A new 6-family house is built on the periphery of this core. The grain is taken from the existing surroundings, the volume is divided into two building bodies, which are connected by a common staircase. The house faces the village square on the gable side and fits ideally into the row of existing and new buildings. The flat typology consists of multi-storey flats on the main floors and maisonettes in the attic. The buildings are clearly structured. A low plinth takes up the rising facade, which is accentuated in two different shades of red. The modernity of the buildings is underlined by the reduced formal language. The staircase is completely glazed and does not appear as a volume.
